So what's it actually like to drive a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle? This GM Next video clip gives you the (literally) behind-the-wheel impressions of one of GM's test drivers. Perhaps needless to say he’s impressed.
It's not just with performance of the fuel cell SUV he's been driving: "It's entirely seamless...other than starting the engine...I couldn't distinguish it from any other car. It has a surprising amount of power...it works just as well as any higher end internal combustion engine car."
But also with the direction GM's taking...He had always associated GM with bigger vehicles, muscle cars, but with this he knew "that they were right on track, they had really captivated my attention."
