We know our old electronics shouldn't be thrown out, but it's sometimes hard to know what to do with them or how to recycle them properly.

It gets a little easier in New York for the next month: the Lower East Side Ecology Center is hosting a few collection days—see their site for what's acceptable, and get started on greening your spring cleaning.

They'll be at the following places on the following days:

April 17: 10:00am - 4:00pm in Brooklyn
Habana Outpost, South Portland Avenue & Fulton Street.

April 18: 10:00am - 4:00pm in Manhattan.
Morningside Park, Morningside Avenue between 113th & 114th Streets.

April 25: 10:00am - 4:00pm in Brooklyn.
PS 29 School Yard, Baltic Street between Henry & Clinton Streets.
