Howtoons makes every project engaging

Maker Faire is all about getting kids involved in hands on projects, showing them how fun it is to tinker with things and make them work in new ways. But getting kids engaged can sometimes be difficult. Unless, of course, you turn project instructions and information into a page straight out of a comic book.
Howtoons does just this, showing kids how to make everything from a turkey baster flute to a marshmallow shooter with highly engaging instructions that are fun to read. The projects look like something to simply pick up and read, then kids see what great projects they can make by following the steps.

Kids are encouraged to pick up everyday objects around them and turn them into something new, learning about physics, chemistry, math, biology and other sciences in the process. The projects can all be done with stuff laying around the house.
