How well we understand global climate change is an ever evolving science, with projections made just 12 months ago about how much sea levels will rise, what levels of atmospheric concentration of CO2 will prevent the worst of global warming, and how much warming can the planet take before it all goes haywire, all being revised. The bad news is that the planet's climate seems to be changing faster than anyone predicted. The good news is that we still can prevent it.
