
The best way to celebrate Bike to Work Day is simple: bike to work! If you already bike to work, then congats. You are already taking great strides to help the planet during your morning commute. But if you are new at biking to work, or biking in general, here are5 few easy tips to get you started.

A survey out of Britain concluded that most women were unwilling to bike to work and cited dishevelment and helmet hair as reasons. The study did not include men, but I assume that there are quite a few dudes who do not want to cycle to work for the same reasons.

I am very fond of pointing out that bicyclists have the same rights, and responsibilities, as drivers. As an avid bicycle commuter and racer, it frustrates me to no end to see cyclists treat the roads like a playground, and drivers treat cyclists as though they shouldn't even be on the road.
