The Object Project, a sewing blog, shows off this sweet clutch, made by tracing tea saucers onto coordinating fabrics and folding them. Since it doesn't require much fabric—about 1/4 yard of each pattern—you might even have enough scraps lying around already—which means you’ll be ready for your next tea party in no time at all. Instructables user l8nite literally turns trash into treasure with this tutorial on making earrings and necklaces from shiny candy wrappers: just crinkle them into your favorite shapes, gloss, and attach with wire. Bonus: you have to do something with all that chocolate before you can get to the wrappers...
