Have noticed how remarkably pretty the security patterns printed on the inside of some billing envelopes can be? Well, once the searing pain of parting with a portion of your income passes, that is.

Derek and Laura from Design Sponge sure have. The crafty duo show us how easy it is to turn those envelopes inside out to create unique and attractive recycled stationery. First, deconstruct the envelope using your fingers, a letter opener, or a blade, making sure not to rip the paper. Unfold the envelope, flip it over so the printed side is facing down, and then refold the envelope inside-out along the score lines, applying glue along any overlapping seams. ::Design Sponge
