My cats love sleeping on top of our luggage-or inside if we happen to be packing for a trip-so maybe it's time I took the hint and gave them one of their own. Kirsten Schueler of Green is the New Blue did just that, by converting a gorgeous powder-blue vintage suitcase into a bed for her pooch.

Beside adding a snap-on strap on the back to prevent the suitcase from shutting on itself, Schueler also tucked a handmade squeaky dog toy into the interior fabric pocket. A quartet of knobs lift the bed above the floor. Click below the jump for another shot. ::Green is the New Blue
