We never quite expect for a huge corporation to be behind eco-friendly changes. And when huge corporations come out supporting the planet, which is happening more and more these days, I think that's often times a surprise to many. Needless to say, I was relatively surprised when Target started really collecting eco-friendly lines. Because of this, these days a person can be eco-friendly simply by shopping at Target.
Target has been offering more and more eco-friendly options for consumers these days. If you're in the market to be more eco-friendly with your shopping, it might be as easy as shopping at Target.
Here are some of the awesome green products they've started selling:
Recycled glassware Collection. This is pretty awesome and the glassware is really modern looking, too.
Recycled toys. They have a line of recycled toys. My favorite is the horse-shaped tire swing made 100% from recycled tires.
Note cards made from recycled material. In days when emailing is much more prevalent than sending actual letters, it's nice to know that we can still give cards and letters without harming the environment as much as we used to. Target sells note cards that are artistic and eco-friendly.
Bamboo sheet sets. Who would have thought that we'd one day be able to go to Target and get sheets made from bamboo? Not only are they cool looking, but they're great for our environment!
So, I guess the verdict is in...shop at Target!
