Have you redecorated your place, but just can't get that old coffee table out of your space? Take these five reuses and keep that table in circulation.
- Create a fabulous address sign. Cut your table top into a shape that shows off your style. Paint or carve your address and family name into your custom designed sign. Hang it with pride. In no time, your neighbors will be ogling over your design.
- Make your very own shelves. You can stack several coffee tables to make a fashionable shelving unit. Secure the legs with wood glue or nails to keep your shelves from slipping.
- Build a board. Make a custom skateboard out of your coffee table top. Carve in some gnarly symbols to create the most unique board on the block.
- Construct an ottoman. Take several old pillows and place them between two layers of sturdy but soft material. Affix the pillow top to the old coffee table then put your feet up and enjoy.
- Design a desk. Remove the coffee table legs and place your table top on cinder blocks or decorative bricks. You'll be inspired to write the next great novel at your amazing new desk.
