Water seems as if it is everywhere: In our bathtubs, in our balloons, in our oceans and in our jars labeled WATER. Even our bodies are sixty percent water. When a person drinks a glass of water, they are, in fact, committing sixty percent cannibalism. Yes. Water is a seemingly ubiquitous substance.
But we shouldn't waste water. Fresh, clean water, the kind that's good to scrub with, is a privilege that we have to earn. We earn our water by conserving it and keeping it clean.
Taking shorter showers is just one way of conserving our water supply. It doesn't hurt to skip a day or two between showers either. Skipping showers might even be healthier than showering everyday. There are quite a few scientists who believe there is a link between extreme cleanliness and the development of allergies. Remember, this isn't medical advice. It is just information, information that you can use to justify bathing less and stinking up the office where you work.
One thing is certain, however, we have to share this planet and the water on it. Try and shower less in duration and quantity if possible. Thanks.
