Reuse Leftover Wrapping Paper

Although Heidi's luscious gift wrap isn't made from recycled paper, the designer has some creative ideas for using every last scrap of leftover wrapping paper, saving some of the 5 million extra tons of trash Americans create between Thanksgiving and New Year's.

Add some pizazz to your address labels, accent future food gifts, or cut used gift wrap up into squares for ad-hoc decorative coasters. Or save them for next yuletide, when crushed wrapping paper can replace bubble wrap (or the dreaded Styrofoam peanuts) for cushioning Christmas mail packages.

From all of us at Planet Green, have a blessed holiday.
