Bamboo is one of the most eco-friendly building materials there is—it's sturdy and solid, yet it grows extremely fast and is therefore rapidly renewable. (Hint hint: that means it's often cheap to buy, too) Plus, it has a stark, elegant that will likely blend into the decor of your home. So it’s really no wonder we're seeing more and more bamboo products enter the marketplace—which is good news for eco-enthusiasts everywhere.

So what sort of bamboo products can you expect to find out there? Well, pretty much everything. From to closets to tables, and everything in between, when it comes to home furnishings and tools, bamboo's got the bases covered. But there are also bed sheets, stationary and cutting boards to be considered too.

And you'd be surprised some of the places bamboo is popping up in. For instance, on eco-laptops, even on external hard drives.

This post is by no means a comprehensive buyer's guide to all things bamboo—it's just a spirited reminder that bamboo is one of the fastest growing (literally) materials for a very good, green reason, and we should all help encourage its eco-friendly ascent.
