Here's another way to recycle your plastic bags: Snip them into strips you can crochet or knit into chicer shopping bag.

User timacnolan at Instructables shows us how to cut and then loop the plastic strips together to form a continuous ball of yarn. The result? A shopping bag that takes "I am not a plastic bag" to a whole new level. ::Instructables
