What's that you say? How preposterous... I would never!

Well, why not. There is no reason why we can't recycle our holiday cards. How many of us really keep our cards forever anyway? If you are ready to take a bit of a ride on the wild side, we offer this simple, yet effective idea.

Recently, my family has begun to practice recycling holiday cards, which started as kind of a joke and has escalated into actually a nice and easy way to recycle cards over and over again. It works by not signing your name on the card itself, but rather using a small sticky note to apply your signature(s) and a quick note of love and cheer.

Once the card has been given, displayed, and enjoyed, the sticky note can be removed and the card is then ready to forward on to someone else to enjoy. Now, perhaps not everybody will look kindly to this idea, but if you really think about it, there is nothing wrong with reusing a card through a series of several people before it is finally laid to rest in its proper card recycle bin.

It saves time, it saves paper, and us guys really dig it! No more of those forgotten anniversary and birthday trips to the grocery store... Hallelujah!

Of course you can always go completely paperless and follow the electric card craze, but gramps and grandma may not be quite ready for that.
