Read it all? Before you fold away yesterday's news into the recycling bin, consider reusing it in one or more of these ingenious ways:

1. Entertain the kiddies with dancing dollies

2. Make papier-mâché beads for a necklace

3. Assemble a fire-starting kit

4. Crumple or shred and use as packing material

5. Donate to your local shelter for lining puppy pens

6. Prep your garden bed

7. Scrunch some up for cleaning windows

8. Spread sheets on the floor or table to catch paint spills or other messes

9. Stuff into an orphan sock for an instant crinkle toy for kitty

10. Use the funnies section for interesting wrapping paper
