Monica Ewing, senior designer at Sunset wanted a paper-recycling receptacle she could slide into the bottom pull-out shelf of her microwave cart. When her search turned up empty, she decided to make her own out of a cardboard moving box and some fabric.
A couple of hours and $16 later, she had her own custom-built paper-recycling station. Plus, a pair of handles cut from nylon webbing allows her to tote the box oh-so-handily to the curb on recycling day. Genius! ::Home by Sunset
