Holiday Hackshop Teaches Electronic Craft-Making

The best gifts to give are those you've made yourself. During a special event, you'll be able to boost your creative juices and power up your DIY skills.

For everyone in the New York Area, clear your calendar for December 13, 2008 for the Holiday Hackshop.

During this event, you can participate in a range of workshops that will teach you some cool skills to take home, along with awesome projects you complete yourself. Make a snow globe from recycled materials, repurpose your iPod into a whole new gadget, play with plastic and create musical instruments, and many other great projects.

You can take what you learn at the workshop and apply it at home to make all your holiday gifts!

EVENT: (Free workshops/Christmas party): Eyebeam's beloved, annual Holiday Hackshop!
DATE: Sat., Dec. 13, 1PM - 5PM workshops | 6PM: Holiday party (think spiked eggnog, cider and holiday treats!)
LOCATION: 540 W. 21st St., NYC
COST: Free to visit; minor materials costs for select workshops
