Animal Planet's Pet Trends with Maggie Gallant has some great tips this Earth Day on how to make your four-legged companion's lives just a little more eco-friendly.

The buzzwords to look for, Gallant says, are "organic," "all-natural," "biodegradable," and "recycled." She shares some of her favorite green pet gear, including beds by West Paw Design, as well as recycled poop bags.

"Take it from this city dweller, non-birkenstock wearin' chick," she says. "Earth Day is not just for tree-huggers. It's for all of us, so get in the spirit!" ::Pet Trends with Maggie Gallant
