Where do they make countertops? In a factory? Who is in charge of counter production? The counter producer? Does he make sure that all his workers are counter productive? Enough with the puns. There are new counters being produced that are productive for the environment.
These counters are made out of recycled glass and concrete. Usually, I would be wary about eating off of old, broken glass and concrete. It is too much like eating at a junkyard in the style of the Catillac Cats.
These recycled-material counters, however, are easy on the eyes, non-porous and durable. They look just like regular countertops. You don't have to tell your rich, snobby friend who wears mink stoles and goes about saying, "Well, I never!" that these countertops are made from what is essentially considered to be trash. In fact, it might be fun to think that while you feed your friend caviar from a tube.
We all know that products made from recycled materials are good. What's even better about these recycled countertops is that they, themselves, can be recycled when you are done with them. Recycled glass and concrete countertops are also petroleum-free. That's something your average Formica countertop can't claim.
