Planet Green has previously shown Annie Leonard's Story of Stuff; 22 years ago, comedian George Carlin covered the story of stuff in, shall we say, a more colorful manner.

He reports that the meaning of life is trying to find a place for our stuff. That is what our house is: a container with a lid to cover our stuff, and a lock on the door for when we go out to get more stuff.

Carlin nails how we live, how we travel, and how silly it is that we build our lives around so much stuff. Five minutes of insight with only three swear words, but it is George Carlin... ::George Carlin via :Unclutterer
