Cleaning the inside of your microwave doesn't have to be a tedious chore, according to Julie Edelman, author of The Ultimate Accidental Housewife: Your Guide to a Clean-Enough House (2008, Hyperion). To get your appliance lemony-fresh, she says, simply zap a bowl of water and lemon juice for five minutes. Let it cool, then open the door and wipe down the walls.
