Music has gone digital, and so have you. But now you're stuck with tons of old CD cases that just clutter up your closets and linen drawers. What can you do? Will the stirring lyrics of a Bon Jovi song help you get through this predicament like they helped you through your painful high school years? If Jovi doesn't have an answer, may I suggest one?
One way to dispose of these jewel cases is by turning them into a picture frames. That's right, you can frame your pictures using the remnants of your old CD cases. Simply remove CD holder from within the case. Set that aside. You'll probably want to recycle that if you can't think of a use for it.
Place a picture on the inside of the CD case. To make this look more attractive, you will want to decorate the CD case. I suggest that you use images cut out of old magazines for backgrounds. A seascape or landscape would make the best background. You can also decorate with construction paper and/or glitter. But if you want to use a picture of Glen Close's forehead as a background, it is a free country. You are the boss.
Use non-toxic glue to stick your background to the CD case. Set your picture in the middle of your background. Glue it or sticky-tack it down. Voila! Green picture frame.
