did you know: buy in bulk video

Marketers often tout tinier versions of regular-sized food as fun-sized or snack-sized. A candy bar by its very definition is a snack. So how can a smaller candy bar be considered more snack-sized? Wouldn't it be a snackier-sized or resized snack? Besides for posing a threat to the English language, these tyke-sized treats pose a threat to the environment.

In addition to creating a smaller snacks, the snack company also has to create tiny packaging to put its miniature morsels in. These itty-bitty wrappers are filling our landfills at an alarming rate.

People who want slight snacks without the plentiful packaging should visit their local confectioners. Supermarkets also carry unpackaged candies. You can even steal a few of them before it's considered a misdemeanor. For legal purposes, let us consider that last sentence a joke.

Buy your snacks in bulk. But don't eat them in bulk or you'll grow bulky.
