It was a harmless habit you thought, pit stopping by the fridge for a finger scoop of raw cookie dough. You tell yourself you’ve had a tough day, you deserve it.
But what you definately don’t deserve is a side of E. coli like the 25 other folks who were reported hospitalized (and seven with severe complications called Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome) after eating Nestle Toll House cookie dough raw.
So before you dip another digit into that tube of chocolaty-chip goo, check Nestle’s recent recall of 47 products to make sure you don’t have an E. coli criminal lurking in your fridge.
Then resolve to never, ever buy pre-packaged and processed hard-to-pronounce ingredient foods (no matter how tasty) and sate your sugar cravings with organic, homebaked cookies that are both delicious for you and the planet!
Because really, could anything edible that comes in a "tube" or "tub" ever be good?
