Remember your keys

Unknown.

As part of our Get Recession-Ready series, I advocated taking your lunch to work. So how many of you made up your lunch last night, and then forgot it in the refrigerator this morning?

The folks over at The Kitchn have come up with a great idea: Put your keys on top of your lunch in the fridge and you won't forget it. Great idea, that is, if you drive a car or you bike.

I can, however, see a potential downside to this. What if you walk or take transit, and don't need your keys when you leave the house? Then at lunch time you'll get that sinking feeling in your stomach when you realize that not only will you go hungry, but you'll also be locked out and cold, to boot. Maybe you could put your bus fare on top of your lunch!

What is your trick for remembering to take your lunch with you in the morning?
