Banish Period Pain with Omega Fatty Acids

I didn't used to ever feel the effects of my period. I would maybe feel some minor back pain. But as I've gotten a little bit older that has changed somewhat. I just feel a little more uncomfortable than I used to as well a little bummed out. That's no surprise considering that women who are in their late 20s to early 40s are the ones more prone to experiencing PMS.

If you are one of the women who is plagued by the annoying symptoms of premenstrual syndrome, do not fret. There are natural ways that can help ease the symptoms or even help banish them altogether. My period has gotten much better since I started taking Omega fatty acids. I don't get any of the painful anxiety or blues that I used to get before my period. Omega-3 fats from fish oil seem to block prostaglandin production. And research shows that women with lower intakes of Omega-3s have more painful periods. Essential fatty acids cannot be manufactured in the body, but are critical to health and metabolism. And the type of essential fatty acid which is most important is the Omega-3. This is because it encourages the production of inflammation fighting chemicals which help provide relief of PMS symptoms. So give the supplement a try, it certainly won't hurt you.
