It's that time of year again, sniffly noses and a nagging cough, it's cold season. This year why not stave off symptoms and beat your cold the green way? Try some all natural cures that will you make you feel like yourself again. Skip the drugs that make you feel cloudy and are produced with tons of packaging.

  • When you have a cold your body in trying to communicate with you, it's saying slow down, I need a break. Why not listen this time? Don’t keep going at full speed when your body needs to take some time to regain immunity and fight off the cold that is trying to take over.

  • If you're feeling achy, run a hot bath with Epsom Salts and let your body soak. The steam will also help with the congestion that goes along with a nasty cold.

  • Take a bunch of vitamin C and drink a lot of fresh squeezed orange juice produced from local or organic oranges.

  • Take Echinacea and zinc supplements. Both are said to fight off sickness and rebuild the immunity in your body to help get rid of a cold.

  • Drink organic medicinal teas. I love Organic Throat Coat Herbal Tea by Traditional Medicinals. It really works wonders. There are tons of varieties. You can find a tea for all that ails you.
