Is grilling a steak truly intimidating? It shouldn't be, especially if you use organic grass fed beef. On the Eliminate Your Steak Mistakes episode of Emeril Green, Emeril shows us why high quality grass fed beef is healthier and tastier than traditional beef. Using just a little kosher salt, cracked pepper, and a touch of olive oil, Emeril cooks a mouth watering steak in just 3 minutes. He uses a cast iron pan and high heat to sear each side.

Emeril's easy tips for cooking the perfect grass fed steak:

For a rare steak, the steak should cook 4 minutes on each to an internal temperature of 125 degrees. For a medium rare steak, the steak should cook 5 minutes on each side to an internal temperature of 130 degrees. And for a medium steak, the steak should cook 6 minutes on each side to an internal temperature of 140 degrees.

Use a meat thermometer for larger pieces of meat. For smaller pieces, simply use a kitchen timer.

The pan should be hot enough to smoke once you add the olive oil.
