Nothing says swank like serving your guests a signature cocktail to go with their delightful eco-meal. If you want the conversation to flow at your table like it does on Supper Club with Tom Bergeron, try a green cocktail. Once these indulgent treats start flowing, so too will the conversation.

Just by registering with a few simple bits of information, Purus vodka will plant a tree in your name. The organic wheat distiller will even let you choose what type. Their commitment to the environment is also apparent from their production process. It harvests locally grown, 100 percent organic wheat from the Piedmonte and Lombardy regions of Italy.

If you want to add some bubbly to your cocktail try Serge Faust from the Champagne district of France. Serge Faust grows grapes according to the organic methods outlined by the National Union of Independent Agrobiologists, a French organic certifier.

Watermelon Green-tini

2 oz local watermelon puree
2 oz Purus vodka
1 oz organic champagne
1 tsp mint, finely diced
1 cup ice

Directions

  1. Add the watermelon puree, vodka, mint, and ice into a shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Pour in martini glass (without ice).
  4. Top off with champagne.
