Are You An Eco-Friendly Eater?

Planet Green's new quiz helps you find out.

Thu Jan 08, 2009 11:30 AM ET

For most of us, the biggest challenge when it come to going green is making our diets more eco-friendly. It seems that every other activity, whether it's cleaning our houses, doing laundry, getting rid of the trash, getting around, or even organizing a renovation, requires only a few small modifications to make it gentler on the earth. When it comes to food, however, it is much harder to resist that delicious-looking piece of fruit in the winter, or the low-price of factory-farmed meat.

Of course, readers of Planet Green and Treehugger know that, by shopping at farmer's markets, trying new vegetables, and preserving the harvest, it is possible to eat green. We even know when organic is the green choice and how to save energy when cooking.

But is this enough?

To help you determine whether you're an eco-friendly eater or not, Planet Green presents a new quiz: Are You An Eco-Friendly Eater? Don't miss this opportunity to find out how green you are when it comes to food.

If you are hungry for more eco-quizzing, don't miss the updated Tom Green Quiz Game.
