Okay, 'fess up. You go to the store and bypass all the weird and wonderful vegetables that are new to you and buy...carrots. I understand, I really do. People ask me all the time how to cook the vegetables they see in my buggy. Who wants to buy something totally foreign to them, and then scour cookbooks to figure out how to prepare it? And what happens if you don't like it?

Of course, if you are one of the growing number of people who are ordering organic vegetable boxes, you may find yourself taking delivery of something you have never seen before. Don't panic, help is available. VegBox Recipes has a mystery-veggie section, where you can check out photos of vegetables to determine what the heck you have. The site will even tell you how to cook it.

Even if you don't get a vegetable box, this site can help you out by encouraging you to try something new from the market. So don't let that turban squash get slimy in your crisper, get cooking.
