Planet100: U.S.-China Energy Pact (11/18)
President Obama and Chinese Prime Minister Hu Jintao surprised the world yesterday, pledging to reduce greenhouse gas emissions though an ambitious 9 point Cooperation plan.

China and the U.S. make up 44 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, so the joint announcement could have dramatic impacts on the upcoming climate talks in Copenhagen.

Sarah Palin Goes 'Rogue' in Climate Facts
The ex Alaskan governors' memoir has been lambasted by the media for containing numerous untruths about energy and the environment. Here are a few cited:

  • The poor will be hardest hit by clean energy legislation (not true)
  • Obama said cap-and-trade will cause electricity bills to sky rocket (no he didn't)
  • She never supported aerial wolf hunting (she signed the bill)

Alaska's War on Polar Bears

Sarah targeted the wolves, now governor Sean Parnell has declared war on polar bears. He?s suing the federal government to remove polar bears from the list of endangered species because he says their listing cripples the oil industry.
