WATCH VIDEO: Obama and Singh, Billionaire Funds Farms and Obama Goes to Copenhagen

Obama and Singh

Yesterday, President Obama met with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the two made a ground-breaking pledge to work together to fight climate change.

Though no actual targets were revealed, the joint commitment to "significant mitigation action" sends a positive signal that may ease tensions between climate negotiators at Copenhagen.

Obama goes to Copenhagen

Last week President Obama deflated the hopes of climate activists when he announced that there would be no binding deal in Copenhagen. But they now have cause to celebrate.

An administrative official announced on Wednesday that the U.S. president would indeed attend Copenhagen to participate in the preliminary negotiation on Dec. 9, one day before he accepts the Nobel Peace Price in Norway.
