Obama's New Climate Strategy
President Obama pledges to resume an "urgent priority" on climate change next year – but this time round the Democrats have new strategy.

After the failure of an umbrella carbon policy attempt two years ago, the Democrats plan on pushing through climate policies in chunks. Obama was not specific about the "chunks" of policies he would pursue, we can most likely expect bite-size bills on electric cars, natural gas trucks and utility carbon caps.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Obama reiterated the importance of an energy policy that addresses the nation’s overreliance on fossil fuels.

Planet Green Wins at the Emmys
When it comes to raising awareness on the environment, no one does it better than Planet Green. The network recently won two News and Documentary Emmy awards for their efforts.

And the Emmys went to: The Last Beekeeper—which follows the lives of three beekeepers across the US as they deal with Colony Collapse Disorder; and Split Estate—which focuses on citizens in the path of a new drilling boom in the Rocky Mountain West who struggle against the erosion of their civil liberties and their health.

Jaguar's Electric Super Car
To celebrate it's 75th birthday British auto maker Jaguar has given us something new to drool over: the C-X75 Electric Super Car. A 780 hp mostly-electric supercar capable of hitting 250 mph with a whopping 500-mile range, all wrapped in a vintage body, the car's chief designer calls it "possibly the most beautiful Jaguar ever made."
