Welcome to the Planet 100 for November 23, 2009. Here's what we're covering today:

WATCH VIDEO: RSVP Copenhagen, Robot Polar Bears and Al Gore's Plan B

RSVP Copenhagen
In a bold move to salvage a politically binding deal in Copenhagen next month, Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen upped the ante by inviting 191 heads of state to attend the final two days of COP15 climate talks.

65 world leaders have RSVP'd including Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Spain and the United Kingdom. No official word yet from the planet's three biggest carbon emitters -- the US, China and India.

Robot Polar Bears
Whether or not the Copenhagen treaty goes through, at least a few polar bears will be saved from misery. The St. Louis Zoo announced that their new Wild Lights exhibit would opt for bears of the robotic variety.

The animatronic versions will be taking the place of their real endangered counterparts, all whom have died at St Louis zoo in recent years -- only 81 polar bears remain at American zoos.
