Copenhagen Accord
Late Friday night, 25 world leaders signed into existence the Copenhagen Accord, brushing aside the UN's consensus-based process at COP15 and causing an uproar in the environmental community.
The document is neither legally nor politically binding, but Yvo de Boer clarified that it is historically significant as a "letter of intent" between the world's largest economies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help fund developing nations prepare for climate change.

Greenpeace Arrests
Four Greenpeace activists who crashed the Queen?s dinner party at the Copenhagen climate talks on Friday are being held in solitary confinement until a trial in January.
Carrying banners reading "politicians talk, leaders act", Greenpeace were demanding leadership from the developed countries in the final 24 hours to establish a real deal at COP15.
