Jump-kicking philosopher David Lee Roth once declared: "You can't get romantic on a subway line." So I'm guessing Diamond Dave never saw The Meetles in action.

Meet The Meetles

  • Eric on drums

  • Naomi on bass & vocal

  • Rob on rhythm guitar, keyboard & vocal

  • Barry on lead guitar

  • Maggie, Yusuke, Steve on rhythm guitar & vocal

  • Danny on vocal

  • Tarun on harmonium & trumpet

  • Andy on flute & percussions

  • And other friends & guest musicians

The Meetles are New York's best and most fun Beatles cover band. Every time they perform in the notorious Big Apple subways (as part of the Music Under New York program), harried commuters stop rushing, grim facial expressions disappear, singing and dancing starts to happen, and community erupts spontaneously.

The Meetles Community Testifies:

Michelle: "You guys were awesome Saturday night! We walked into the station when you were in the middle of Imagine. What a great sight to hear strangers being brought together by the power of music! I loved your show! Thanks so much for the show! I will wear my Meetles button proudly! :)"

The Lustermans: "We had a delightful time at a recent LIRR Penn Station gig u guys did. We are the older couple who cane danced to your wonderful music and took home a CD which we enjoy... thanks for topping off a lovely evening. It was well worth taking a later train back to Long Island."

Melissa: "Caught you guys in Penn Station last night between 10 and 10:30 p.m. You guys were AMAZING. And I'm a hardcore Beatles fan and very fickle about Beatles cover bands and how other musicians do their music, but you guys had it down to a T!"

John: "My first time in NYC in 30 years and I chance upon you guys. I was totally mesmerized!! Incredible!! Awesome!! I couldn't help but sing along. Thank you so much!!!"

Bérénice: "THANK YOU for making people so happy and keeping the Beatles spirit alive as you do so well. Thank you for making us sing in the subway while everyone looks so serious, or preoccupied. You are GREAT."

Samantha: "YOU GUYS NEED TO COME PLAY DOWN HERE IN KEY WEST, FL!!!!!!!!!!!"
