After weeks of feverish internet speculation, the musical line-up for Bonnaroo 2010 has been announced. Indie faves like Miike Snow, Dr. Dog, Ok GO, Bassnectar and Phoenix will share stage time with established musical titans, like Dave Matthews, Norah Jones, Tori Amos and Jay-Z. The show is June 10-13.

Now in its eighth year of operation, Bonnaroo, held on a huge, 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tenn., is one of the country's most popular musical, cinema, and comedy festivals. In addition to the arts, attendees can also take advantage of on-site yoga classes, courses in composting, gardening and sustainable living via The Academy in Planet Roo, and an irresistible-if-slightly-weird dance party, "Silent Disco." Here, live DJs spin music straight into your stereophones, rather than over loud speakers, so that campers can sleep peacefully while you get your dance party on.

One of the greenest features of Bonnaroo is undoubtedly the Solar Stage. Here, an ensemble of music, dance, and environmental speakers educate audiences from a solar-power stage. With the help of Rock the Earth, StopGlobalWarming.org, and the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council), topics under discussion will include (natch) global warming, and social change through music.

Speaking of music and change, the green street cred of this year's Bonnaroo line-up is impressive. In addition to clean-water-in-Africa crusader Shawn Carter - a.k.a. Jay-Z - Dan Deacon, who famously converted a giant school bus into a partially vegetable oil-fueled touring vehicle, will be in attendance. Damian Marley and Nas, collaborating for a show at Bonnaroo this year, are fresh off a BET fund-raising telethon to benefit the Haiti relief effort, while Norah Jones and Regina Spektor are both doing their part to help by selling personalized memorabilia.

Tickets for Bonnaroo can be purchased at their website, where you can also find travel and on-site camping information.
