What's up with all those dogs in OK Go's video for "White Knuckles"? What's a music video? It's what MTV used to play before there were reality shows. Anyway, this video features lots of different dogs performing for the cameras. Most of them are rescue animals, saved from the shelter. And the band, OK Go, is using the video to gather donations for ASPCA.
That's the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The video premiered on the Ellen Degeneres Show (see what I said about MTV). Since then, there have been remix contests based on the song, and coverage of the dogs by media far and wide. Hopefully, there also have been some decent donations to ASPCA.
To donate, you can download a high-res version of the video, and give as much money as you want. They don't seem too picky. See the OK Go website for more. The video, embedded below, has more than 6.4 million views so far.

Net proceeds from the sales will go to the ASPCA, and be earmarked to support rural, volunteer-run animal shelters in the United States, according to the band. The ASPCA, based in New York, works "to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.”
