While entries have been pouring in for Planet Green's and Hessnatur's Eco-Tee Design Challenge, we've been highlighting some of the judges favorites: Summer Rayne Oakes liked an abstract drawing of Mother Earth, Miranda Purves threw her support behind an interpretation of a tribal drawing, and Miguel Adrover chose a simple line sketch of a growing plant.

For judge Blake Mycoskie, Chief Shoe Giver and founder of TOMS shoes, the simple, straightforward message of the design submitted by Michele Hankin, shown here, combines an important topic with an easy-to-read format.

"I think making the world a better place should be simple. Having a clear message is ultimately what resonates in people's minds and therefore encourages them to get on board. This tee does just that- the message is so straight-forward, the drawing is relatable, and it achieves the goal, 'Go green!'"

It's not too late to submit your own design to the contest--entries will be accepted (one per person) through noon on September 1, after which Planet Green readers will vote on their favorites and the judges will choose a winner from the top five; the designer of the chosen shirt will see his or her drawing printed and distributed on Hessnatur organic tees.
