Shop Green for Good: It's easy to feel guilty when shopping—especially when the items aren't sustainably made or are bound to clutter up your closet. This Earth Day, Global Green is providing an eco-friendly alternative to those of you with tax refunds burning a hole in your pocket. Scoot over to eBay mid-April when their Green Team hosts a special auction to benefit Global Green's do-gooder efforts. If the auction is bit beyond your recession-style budget, consider becoming a Global Green member. Students get a sweet, half-priced discount.

Carve out as little as a couple of minutes out of your busy schedule to sign Global Green's plea to President Obama, urging him to take action in making healthy, green schools a priority. After all, if we want American's youth charging the sustainable plight, it will require well built, non-toxic learning environments?not the dilapidated, chemical-laden classrooms peppering the nation.
