Hair

  1. Use apple cider vinegar to remove dandruff.

  2. Choose a low-maintenance hairstyle that doesn't require blow drying or tons of shampoo.

  3. Dye your hair with all-natural products instead of harsh chemicals.

  4. Use natural soap and shampoo. Our water treatment systems have trouble cleaning out those things that are essentially cleansers. They can get into our waterways and cause algae growth where we don't want algae to grow.

  5. Make your own shampoo.

Ears

  1. I've had a doctor tell me not to use cotton swabs on my ears. The doctor told me it can force wax back into the ear canal where it can build up and cause all sorts of problems. Also, you might perforate the ear drum if you jam too hard. If you are using cotton swabs specifically for your ears, stop and save on waste.

  2. Donate your hearing aids to the less fortunate.

  3. Make your own earrings.
