At Swango, folks from across the country can swap clothing and shoes with their fashion soul mates online. How it works is simple: Every time you upload a giveaway item, you earn credits. You can then apply those credits toward obtaining clothing, shoes, and accessories from other members.

Shipping costs are shared by both buyer and sender, who will each dole out around a buck or two per item. While there is no membership fee to use Swango, the site collects a 99-cent-per-item transaction free. A percentage of this, however, goes to Dignity U Wear, a non-profit that supplies new clothing to families in need. ::Swango
