Blaire is my best friend on the West Coast. She blogs regularly on her own site about the crazy town she lives in and all the crazy inhabitants. Now, I've been trying to get her to get greener for years, but it has been a struggle... and a lot of times she has a point. Leave it to Blaire though, to find the most silliest eco story out there to justify her use of a plastic bag every time. You got to admit, she's funny though...

Dumbrella...

Is going green this hard?

Or this easy?

Paris Hilton rides a bike, and she's in the same "celebrities going green" category as Leo Di Caprio.

I asked for PAPER not plastic at Trader Joes today... Am I green?

The filterbrella—an umbrella that filters rainwater through a carbon filter so you can drink it (it's also compostable)—for example, scares me... It's like some doomsday resource to sustain life. It's an example of extreme green. On the other hand, Paris Hilton simply riding a bicycle is not. I guarantee some time after this photo was taken, Paris hopped into an SUV, went and aerosol-sprayed her fauxhawk, and had dinner at Koi.

10 minutes on a bike makes her green? Then call me jade or emerald.
