What happens to old Santa suits when they die? I mean, you can't really wear them around the house. You can't sport them to meet the in-laws. They are totally inappropriate for funerals. And who wants to be the guy to complain about how Santa suits aren't that practical and that their being impractical makes them bad for the environment? Not me. I don't want to be that guy. I want to be known as a person who likes fun. That being said, here are three ways to reuse the Old Saint Nick suit.

  1. Pajamas
Cut off the white, cottony fringe and make pajamas. It seems like most Santa suits are made of velvet. It's not really a fabric you can wear to the office, but it's comfortable enough to sleep in. Just remember to remove the belt, the boots and the beard. Use the discarded cottony fringe to restuff old, deflated pillows.

  2. Make a Ms. Clause Suit
I don't know why guys get turned on by a woman in a Santa suit. It doesn't make any logical sense. It really makes me worry about my gender as a whole. I mean, a guy in a Santa suit is kind of creepy and will repel women. All that aside, instead of buying trashy lingerie, why not refit the Santa suit for the sexy female in your life. However, you will still have to convince your lady to wear it. With that, I cannot help you.

  3. Make Scarves
Cut the Santa suit into neck-sized strips. Remove the white cotton fringe from the edges of the vest. Sew the fringe onto the two smaller, vertical sides of the scarf. One Santa suit can easily become a half-dozen or so scarves. Why buy your coworkers a bunch of gift cards? Why buy them anything when you can repurpose the Santa suit into affordable, velvety gifts perfect for the wintertime?
