A trip to the spa can be the gift of stress free bliss, and it can also be beneficial to looking and feeling your best. But getting the most bang for your buck means choosing spa treatments that are the best suited for your age. Check out Natural Solution's tips for picking the best all natural treatment for your age. Choose spa treatments that use natural plant based ingredients on your skin instead of scary synthetic chemical peels. Take it a step further and make treatments at home to lessen your green impact further. Think of it this way, if you can't eat it, it's likely not good for you or the planet.

For ages 25 to 35 deep cleaning should be a priority.
Look for skin treatments with ingredients like sea weed, algae, and sea salt. Also look for spa treatments with mineral compounds like the Deep Sea Oxygen Facial at El Monte Sagrado Resort in Taos, N.M. The Deep Sea Oxygen Facial uses a pure plant mineral oxygen infusion to stimulate cellular metabolism and improve circulation. You can also preserve your youthful appearance at home with my guide to a healthy green nightly ritual.

For ages 35 to 45 consider treatments that remove the outer most layer of dead skin cells.
But skip the chemical peels that can be harsh and abrasive and instead try treatments that derive alpha hydroxy acid from plants like cranberries and white willow bark. The Bio-Resurfacing Peel at Juju Spa and Organics in Philadelphia smooths the surface of the skin gently and naturally using the above plant-based ingredients. The peel utilizes organic and natural plant derived enzymes to reveal a fresh layer of healthy skin without the use of harsh chemicals. Here’s a homemade way to slough off dead skin cells with strawberries.

For ages 45 to 55 first slough off the dead skin cells with a dry brush and then apply a deep moisturizing facial.
Look for ingredients like avocado and olive oil. At the Sage Springs Club and Spa in Bend, Or., you can partake in a deliciously almost edible organic honey and avocado butter wrap. But if you don't have the dough or aren't near Oregon, no worries because you can easily tryout similar facial treatments at home.
