In the heart land of eco-fashion, it should be easy to step off your front porch and into a shop carrying any number of lines focused on moving fashion forward into the land of sustainability. However, if you just haven't made it into Kaight, or failed to put in an appearance at The Green Shows, here's your chance. On Friday, June 4th, EcoSalon is hosting a green fashion event not to be missed, EcoSalon Shops!. The event will take place at Green Spaces, at their 394 Broadway, New York, NY location, from 7-10pm.
It's one stop shopping with some of the hottest sustainable clothing and accessories designers out there, including Lara Miller, Study by Tara St. James and Cri De Coeur shoes, four eco-boutiques, Buddha Nose organic body care and A Perfume Organic, H. Fredriksson, Feral Childe, Ecowrist, Doucette Duvall, Ryann, NatureVsFuture, Rebecka Froberg, RESTORE, and T-Luxe Lingerie.

Even better, you can get up close and personal with the designers from each of these lines, who will be on hand to chat with you as you peruse the collections for your next favorite wardrobe pieces. Come prepared to shop, mingle, sample sustainable nibbles, indulge in organic cocktails from Divine Chocolate and Fair Vodka and sip soothing organic, fair trade, biodynamic tea from Zhena’s Gypsy Tea.
What's a eco event without a cause to support? Erica Wolf from Save The Garment Center will be attending to answer questions about the status of New York City’s historic Garment Center and what you can to do help preserve it. While there is no admission fee to get in to the event, it would be good for your Karma to make a donation to Save the Garment Center. After all, it's hard to shop locally made fashion when there's no place to have it made.
Whether you’re simply eco-curious, a serial shopper or in the market for some new organic threads, EcoSalon Shops! is sure to satisfy your every whim, urge or fancy. Oh, and as a little incentive to get there early, gift bags filled with sustainable goodies will be given to the first 50 shoppers.
