In this series we look at hot celebrity looks and translate them into eco-friendly versions you can create yourself!

    The Look:
  1. Hugh Jackman's Red Carpet Panache (Slide 1)
Less than a week after People magazine named him the 2008 Sexiest Man Alive (describing him online as "all scruff and biceps") Jackman walked the red carpet at the New York premiere of his Baz Luhrmann-directed flick Australia in a classic dark brown, three-piece suit with a lightly-checked dress shirt and striped tie. The sexiest man in your life may not be an international superstar, but this look works on mere mortals, too, for anything from weddings to business presentations.

  2. The Eco Friendly Version:

  3. Rawganique Three-Piece Suit (Slide 2)
This three-piece suit, made of organically-grown, sweatshop-free hemp linen fabric, is lined with silky cotton for a smooth drape and even hang, while the buttons are repurposed coconut, tagua nut, or seashells. (Rawganique.com; jacket, $329; vest, $98; pants, $108)

  4. Linda Loudermilk Men's Dress Shirt (Slide 3)
Long known for her sustainable fabrics and chic women's lines, Linda Loudermilk offers men a style boost, too, with her classically tailored dress shirt in a seaweed/cotton blend. (Green Rohini, $315) Finish the look with a striking striped tie in a sustainable fabric or, even better, check your dad's closet for a vintage version.
