Here's an idea for your old towels: fashion a comfy bathrobe out of them! It takes a little bit of sewing, but it's well worth it in the end.
All that you have to do is find the simplest pattern for a bathrobe that you can find. There are lots of patterns online and you can get one from your local craft store, too. Replace what would have been brand new material with the material from your old towels, instead.
Tips: If you don't like the color of your old towels, consider naturally dying them. When you're done, consider decorating the robe to make it perfect for you. This perhaps would include ironing on your initials or another design that you like.
